Dubai International Airport is in news all over as the airport crossed the billionth passenger mark on 19th Dec, 2018. The same was confirmed by Dubai Airports official tweet.
The airport has come a long way since it first opened in September 30, 1960 in a tiny terminal building and a runway of compacted sand. Today the airport handles an average of 7.5 million customers every month. With over 200 flights taking off and landing every day, it’s very normal to get lost here if it is your first visit here.

Note: Aeroflot, Ural Airlines, Gulf Air, Jazeera Airways, and flydubai have operations at both DXB and DWC, so make sure to check the airport before your flight.
